Patient Update: January 2021
We continue to remain open and will be operating as usual throughout the recently announced Tier 4 national lockdown:
Treatment Type
Availability: (All appointments are subject to a Covid-19 pre-screening)
Emergency
Yes - we are treating all emergency patients (Existing & New), with a little more planning around appointment times to allow for additional surgery cleaning and preparation.
New Patients
Yes - we are accepting new patients, please contact us to register.
Essential
Yes - we are carrying out all essential treatment, this may involve a pre-screening appointment to ascertain and allocate the time needed for treatment.
Routine Examinations (Adults & Children)
Yes - from 29nd June we have resumed Routine Examinations for adults and children and will contact and prioritise patients who have missed appointments booked during the lockdown. Alternatively, please contact us.
Pre booked Upcoming Appointments
Yes - if you have an existing appointment booked, we will contact you ahead of the appointment to confirm. (please note we now require more time between each appointment to allow for cleaning and preparation, this may result in the exact time of your appointment changing slightly to accommodate)
Hygienist
Yes - although unfortunately the guidance means, there may be some restrictions.
Teeth Whitening
Yes – although we would normally recommend Hygiene appointment first to maximise results.
Implants
Yes - although unfortunately the guidance means, there may be some restrictions.
Facial Aesthetics
Yes – although with some restrictions.
We would like to reassure you that as always everyone's safety is our priority. We are delighted to be able to treat our patients again and certainly the next few weeks and possibly months will mean that extra care and precautions will be required to ensure this. Please can we ask that you respect any additional levels of hygiene when entering the building and follow our guidelines around social distancing and movement within the surgery. We are confident with your support and understanding we can make visiting the dentist a relatively normal experience.
